These images are taken from scanned
postcards given to us by Carole. The images don't
do the work justice, you would need to hold them in your
hands to fully appreciate the workmanship that has been
put into these textile pieces.
The fabric has been patterned using a
batik wax resist and dyes, and has been layered over with bondaweb. The pieces
of fabric have then been
overstitched to link them together.
