 Fibrecrafts was set up in 1982 by Anna Bowers, supplying hand spinners,
weavers, dyers, felt makers and knitters from her kitchen table top in a
sleepy corner of Surrey. She recognised the need for a supply of difficult to find, quality weaving, spinning and dyeing
equipment and set the standard for the service we are proud of today.
The Fibrecrafts textile craft supplies can now be found
on this website amongst other craft items such as polymer clay, Art
Clay Silver clay, silk paints and silk fabric, screen printing inks
and glass painting.
The decision to combine the products at George Weil with the traditional
craft products from
Fibrecrafts, was not taken lightly. Here, at
www.georgeweil.com, we are
offering an extensive range of craft materials and products which we feel
compliment the range of goods originally supplied by Anna Bowers nearly
30 years ago.
