Make your own fabric paints from acrylic based artist paints combined with Golden GAC-900 Fabric Painting Medium. The medium allows for experimentation, more liquid acrylic based paints such as the FW Artist Acrylic Inks can be used to replicate tie-dye effects or free flowing paints for finely woven silk, while thicker paints like Daler Rowney System 3 can be used for painting on cotton.
Painted fabric should be allowed to dry thoroughly and then heat set on the reverse with an iron for 3-4 minutes. The painting will then withstand a gentle washing machine cycle.
We strongly recommend testing any fabric paints created using this product on fabric swatches to ensure the desired effect.
