These images were sent to us by Jenny Lacey. Her paintings are painted on Pongee silk fabric using Dupont steam fix dyes.
In the top image, you can see how the purple dye colour has been faded out on the petals of the iris by the application of water to wet dye. The gutta outliner prevents the dye from escaping any further across the fabric.
The randomly dyed scarf at the bottom, has ghostly images of leaves floating across the fabric.
