The quarterly magazine for the Association of Guilds of Weavers, Spinners and Dyers is produced by a small team of enthusiastic volunteers. It covers a wide range of textile subjects, including articles on historic textile techniques and cutting edge modern design.

Typical features include how to achieve specific colours from natural dyes and mordants, understanding the difference between shapes of weaving shuttles, discovering weaving, spinning and dyeing techniques in different cultures and throughout history, and help with selecting a spinning wheel. There are articles on fibres, including interviews with producers, visits to exhibitions, and tips on blending fibres with a drum carder. The vast subject of textiles – design, production and history – is celebrated in this popular magazine.
