Polymer clay is a smooth and easy to work clay. It is available in grey or pink for sculptors, in a range of vibrant colours for jewellery makers and modellers, or in skin tone colours for doll makers. There are a number of effect clays which include translucent, and a lightweight clay called Ultralight, plus a choice of liquid clays and varnishes. The clays can be blended to produce faux finishes such as wood, leather and stone. The wide range of modelling tools, shape cutters and moulding compounds available from this website will extend the versatility of this clay.
Polymer clay is made from PVC (polyvinyl chloride), plasticizer, fillers and colourants and is baked at the low temperature of 130°C in a domestic oven. Once baked, the clay is hard and durable and can be sanded, drilled and painted.
Choose from Fimo polymer clays and Premo Sculpey, Premo Sculpey Accents and Sculpey Souffle polymer clays for making beads, pendants and other items of jewellery.
