H Dupont Devore Paste 150g Reactant 1 litre Paste make a gel that dissolves cellulose (eg cotton or viscose fibres) to enable you to create special effects. It is used with great effect on silk velvet and satin where the pile is made of viscose and the base net is silk. Remove or sculpt the pile, creating a Devore fabric which can then be dyed in one dye pot using Alter Ego dyes.
As this devorant works slightly slower than the Fibre Etch, it gives more control over the end result. It is packaged in 2 containers – reactant and paste.
