Fast Black K Salt liquid gives a subtle browning effect to reactive MX Procion dyes when used as a post-dye wash process, imitating the soga colour used in Batik work. It also turns indigo dyed fabric to aubergine colour.
Dissolve 4-10ml fast black salt into a small amount of warm water. Add to 1 litre of cold water. Immerse dry fabric for about 5 mins, rinse in warm soapy water. 250ml bottle.
Chemicals should be handled with care and sensible precautions should be taken; Slightly toxic, may be harmful if swallowed or absorbed through skin. Avoid heat above 50°C and keep separate from food stuff.
