Anti-fusant or anti-spread acts as a primer by helping to prevent colours from spreading in freestyle silk painting. Silk fabric is very absorbent and it is difficult to control the flow of the dye, treating the fabric first with anit-spread will make the fabric surface similar to paper.
The anit-fusant is applied to the fabric with a broad brush and allowed to dry before painting with H Dupont Classique dyes. When the dyes have been steam fixed, rinse out the fabric in water and iron while wet to return suppleness to the fabric. Rinse brushes in water. 100ml
