250g synthetic indigo powder formulated to emulate the ancient dyestuff that produces the familiar indigo blue used for batik work and for dyeing denim jeans fabric. Synthetic indigo requires the same dyeing process as natural indigo and produces identical results; the only difference being reflected in the lower price.
Although Indigo is not the simplest of dyes to use it can produce intense and satisfying results. We include our tried and tested indigo dye recipe here (please note that you will need Thiourea Dioxide and Soda Ash).
