Order silk fabrics for silk painting, printing, and Shibori, finely woven cotton for screen printing or Batik, or polyester for disperse dyeing and heat transfer prints from this selection of materials. These undyed fabrics are priced per metre length and when more than one metre is ordered the fabric will be delivered in one continuous length. The width of the fabrics vary from 90cm to 150cm depending on the fabric. There is also a choice of fabrics on the roll to cater for classes and workshops.
The silk fabrics include the smooth, finely woven Pongee and Habotai which are ideal for silk painting and Shibori, the Gauze Chiffon which can be used when felting wool to make Nuno felted fabric, the Crepe de Chine which is woven from high twist silk yarns to create a flexible fabric with a soft drape, and the tactile Noil Poplin and Noil Gauze fabrics woven from the remaining fibres from silk cocoon carding. In addition to the fabrics are a selection of silk scarves in different sizes and ready to be dyed or painted with silk paints or silk dyes. Silk can be dyed using most dyes, including Natural Dyes, Indigo and Procion MX. For truly vibrant results, the Acid dye range give the best performance on this protein based fabric.

For inkjet printing of digital images on fabric there are the Jacquard Organza, Habotai and Cotton sheets, and the Bubble Jet Set 2000 which can be used to treat your own fabric so that it can be used in an inkjet printer.
