FREE delivery within the UK A quality triple drum carder from Howard Brush, that comes fully assembled and is made out of solid hardwood. The advantage of the triple drum carder is that it takes only half as much turning to produce the same quality bat. It has a bat size of 8 x 22 inches. The fine 90/120 tpi teeth are best for fine fibres such as cotton and silk.
The overall size is 15 inches long (not including the 10 inch pull out wool tray), 17 inches wide and 10 inches high. The main drum or swift is 8.5 inches wide and 8 inches in diameter and the other two drums are 8.5 inches wide and 2.5 inches in diameter and a clamp is included for securing the drum carder to the table while working.
