Jacquard iDye Poly dyes for polyester fabric can be used on the stove top. Dyeing synthetics with disperse dye has now been made easier – Jacquard iDye Poly dye comes in a sachet that dissolves in the water, there is no need to handle the dye powder. Fill a pan of water, drop in the dye sachet and the object for dyeing and bring to a boil.
Jacquard iDye Poly dyes will dye practically any synthetic material, including plastics and nylon. Choose any colour to dye buttons, toys, wigs, plastic fittings and more. Perfect for Cosplay designers and makers, these iDye Poly dyes can be used to dye most synthetic materials including Worbla, Thibra and Fosshape thermoplastics, wigs, 3D printed objects and urethane coatings.
Each 14g packet will dye up to 1.3kg of dry fabric, depending on the intensity of colour required. Testing is recommended for materials that may not withstand the heat from boiling water.
These dyes for polyester can also be used in the same dye bath as Jacquard iDye for Natural fabrics to dye fabrics made from a polyester blend or where polyester thread has been used for the stitching. Choose a colour of iDye Poly closest to the iDye for Natural Fabrics colour, or opt for a completely different colour to create interesting contrasts!
