Semi opaque, lightfast, medium brown non-waterproof drawing ink that dries to a satin finish. This ink is created from a formula consisting of Vandyke crystals, ammonium carbonate and water. Non-waterproof.
C Roberson was commissioned to produce this ink by Samuel Prout (1783-1852), a draughtsman who painted the buildings of Western Europe in fine detail.
