Titanium Oxalate (Titanium Potassium Oxalate) can be used to mordant materials for bringing out oranges from tannins such as Gall Nut, Oak Bark and Cutch and variable colours from other natural dyes. It also helps to improve wash and lightfastness.
Used alongside Alum mordant, it can alter the colour of tannins from leaves during the Botanical Printing process.
Use 10-15% to weight of dried materials (yarns, fibres or fabric). Use on silk and wool and as an alternative to aluminium acetate when mordanting cotton or linen. 500g bag
