Jacquard Marbling Class Pack for 30
The technique of marbling involves creating a multi-coloured pattern of paint that floats on the surface of a gel-like medium. Paper or fabric is then laid on the surface to pick up the floating paint and transfer the design. This Class Pack allows up to 30 students to create elegant patterns on fabric or paper. You will need to supply newspaper strips, shallow pans/trays, a bucket and water. The fabric can be incorporated into a large project such as a class quilt or individual pillow covers. Ages 8+ (recommended for up to 30 individuals).
The Marbling Class Pack includes:
- 8 (2 oz) bottles of Jacquard Marbling Colors
- 1 lb Alum (for pre-treating the paper or fabric)
- 8 oz Methocel (quick-wetting marbling medium)
- Cotton fabric (2 yds of 61″ cotton sheeting)
- 10 plastic droppers
- Easy-to-follow instructions
