Crosslinker Ink Cure is an effective additive designed to significantly reduce the curing time of screen printing inks made with Selectasine ECO pigments and binders. Standard Selectasine screen printing inks typically require heat setting at 165°C for 5–6 minutes to achieve a wash-fast finish. By adding Crosslinker Ink Cure, this curing time can be reduced to as little as one minute, improving efficiency without compromising performance.
For best results, add Crosslinker Ink Cure at a rate of 20g per kg of Selectasine binder. Printed fabrics remain supple and are made wash-fast when heat-set at 165°C for 60 seconds. As printing conditions and fabric types can vary, it is recommended to carry out trials to determine the optimum addition level and confirm suitability for your specific application.
Why use Selectasine Crosslinker Ink Cure:
- Speeds up curing time
- Produces wash-fast, durable prints
- Helps reduce the risk of colour migration
- Ideal for heat-sensitive fabrics
- Remains active for up to 8 hours; add a further 20g to reactivate if required
After use, clean screens promptly with soap and water to prevent ink from drying in the mesh.
Store in suitable conditions above 5°C, as some Selectasine products are sensitive to frost.
