An economical and flexible method of making screen printing inks – the Selectasine ECO pigments and binders allow for a full range of colours and effects for printers, artists and students.
50g pots of concentrated pigment in dispersion for making screen printing inks, a range of paints, and also to colour pulp in papermaking. These small quantities go a very long way and are an economical option for sampling this range of pigments designed for making colours for screen printing.
Use up to 6% pigment in Selectasine binders to make prints permanent on fabric and paper. Choose from our standard SF20 solvent free binder, expanding puff binder, pearl binder or opaque binder! The metallic binder can be combined with fine metallic powders to create “liquid metal” colours – excellent for adding luxurious finishes to prints.
The pigment particles have been dispersed in an aqueous solution so that the pigment combines with the binder more efficiently and smoothly and does not clump. The high concentration of pigment quarantees brilliant colours. These waterbased pigment colours are easy to mix for making a larger choice of coloured screen inks or paints.
The formulations are manufactured with ecologically responsible care and are therefore APEO (Alkylphenol ethoxylates) and Ethylenglycol free. Many of the colours meet the requirements of OEKO-TEX, and GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard). The pigments meet the EU, German and US requirements for limiting PCB and Dioxin/Furan trace contaminations, as well as meeting the ETAD requirements for limiting heavy metal, trace contamination. To prolong the life of this product, store in an airtight container in cool place above 5°C and below 25°C. Wash off screens using water and mild detergent.
Please note: Due to their chemical composition it is not possible for Lemon Yellow and Green to be GOTS compliant. Turquoise Blue is a non-ECO pigment but offered with this group for colour choice.
