An opaque binder for combining with Selectasine coloured and fluorescent pigments to make screen printing inks for printing onto dark coloured fabrics. Choose from 1kg and 5kg sizes, or 30kg which offers excellent value for workshops, studios and classrooms.
The freedom of the Selectasine Screen Printing System means that screen printing inks can be mixed to any colour using just a small amount of the Selectasine Eco Pigment. Use up to 6% pigment to binder to create the emulsion, adding a small amount of Selectasine Concentrated Print Paste Thickener will increase the viscosity if required.
The screen printing ink is made wash fast by heat setting. Once dry, heat set at 165°C (330°F) for 4-5 minutes, this can be achieved by ironing on the reverse of the print. Adding Selectasine Crosslinker to the ink will reduce this time to just 1 minute.
Store in an airtight container in cool place above 5°C and below 25°C. Wash off screens using water and mild detergent.
These pictures show how easily our liquid pigments combine with our binders to make inks for screen printing. In this example we have used the pearl binder.
Due to some of the Selectasine products being sensitive to frost, we advise storage under suitable conditions and at temperatures above 5°C.
