A diazo screen printing kit. Combine the emulsion and dissolved sensitiser to make a photo light-sensitive emulsion which turns hard on the screen printing mesh when exposed to sunlight and other Ultra Violet light sources.
The screen mesh is coated with the sensitised emulsion and allowed to dry in a dark room or cupboard. A stencil is placed on the screen which prevents the emulsion from hardening when exposed to the UV light. After exposure the stencil is removed and the non-hardened emulsion is rinsed away with water to leave a “burned” image of the stencil on the screen mesh; this is the open space for which to pass the screen ink.
Use Jacquard Photo Emulsion and Diazo Sensitiser to create stencils for lettering, detailed images from film negatives and drawings, half-tone prints, logos and more. Stencils must be opaque and impervious to light.
Reclaim screens with Kopimask Screen-Strip Emulsion Remover Concentrate or diluted bleach.
