Pieces of thin grass-like leaves sandwiched between two layers of Lokta fibre to make a 65gsm sheet of handmade paper. Each sheet measures approximately 76 x 51cm (30 x 20″) and has 4 deckle edges. Please note that this is a handmade paper and each sheet is unique.
Lokta paper is hand made in Nepal from the inner bark of the Daphne bush which completely rejuvinates within 4 years. The sticky long fibres create a robust paper with exceptional archival qualities. This eco-friendly paper has been used by the Nepalese for centuries for offical and religious documents.
