Designed for “on-the-go” weaving, the Zoom Loom is 149 x 149mm (5.875 x 5.875″) with an interior opening of 83 x 83mm (3.25 x 3.25″). It is made from a high density, robust plastic.
The broad sides are easy to hold and the sloping interior edges effortlessly guide the weaving needle. There is a notch in one corner of the loom to fix the yarn in place for warping up without having to knot the yarn in place.
Each of the 93 pins are accurately inserted by hand, and two spare are included plus a 152mm (6″) weaving needle and a 76mm (3″) tapestry needle. The pins are deeply bedded into the robust plastic frame ensuring the pins are less likely to become loose as in traditional pin looms made from wood.
The simple woven squares can be stitched together to create blankets, scarves, bags (an example designed by Constance Hall illustrated), placemats, hats…
Cardboard carrying case and instruction booklet containing 3 patterns included.
