The Louet Erica Table Loom in 50cm weaving width (19 3/4″) has 2 shafts which can be expanded to 3 or 4 shafts with the 1 shaft extension kit.
The Erica table loom is easier to operate than a rigid heddle loom because the warp tension is more even. It has a large shed of 4.5 cm (1 ¾”), and there is flexibility in the number of threads per cm.
The warped loom can fold flat making it compact and easy to transport to courses, weaving groups or on holiday. The swinging beater is attached by a U-shaped steel bracket to the frame, and ensures a parallel motion.
Erica comes with a built-in raddle, a stainless steel reed (40/10), 200 Texsolv heddles (150 mm), stainless steel lease- and tie-up bars and warp strips. The loom is made of unlacquered beech and laminated birch.
Additional 15cm Texsolv heddles are available from this website.
