This wheel is made from laminated maple and offers double drive, Scotch tension, and bobbin lead modes of operation. The 49.5cm drive wheel and flyer shaft are supported by self-aligning bronze bearings for precise action and each flyer is individually balanced. The bobbins and flyer whorls are trued on centre for long and superior service.
The wheels come with 2 flyer whorls and 5 other flyer whorls offering spinning ratios from 4:1 to 27.5:1 are available to buy separately. Also included with each wheel are an adjustable carrying strap, 2 drive bands, a threading hook, a lazy Kate, and 4 bobbins. It makes an outstanding and distinctive wheel which works well with the spinner.
