New Classic Linen Canvas range from Winsor & Newton. This series of canvases have seen a marked improvement over their predecessors.
Each canvas is hand stretched over 19mm thick, kiln-dried, FSC approved solid spruce wood stretcher bars. This results in the perfect tension for oil and acrylic painting. If slack appears in the canvas, it can be tightened with the included wooden corner keys.
The canvas material is 13.75oz/390gsm in weight, and prepared with highly pigmented titanium dioxide primer for superior coverage and performance. Each canvas is also archival and acid free.
For use with all forms of acrylic, oil and other mixed media applications. These Linen canvases are particularly suited to heavier applications due to their durability. Available in a wide range of sizes in both metric and imperial.
