The sleek lines of the 25cm (10in) wide Kromski Presto Loom are fashioned from smooth European Alder wood, which is left in its natural state so that you can choose your finish. The loom features a double heddle block to allow for a second heddle reed, and two metal crossbars that raise the weaving area to provide a larger space below the warp. There are two additional metal bars underneath the loom which include rubber feet to help stop the loom from sliding around.
The Presto also has a metal ratchet and pawl with corresponding rare earth magnets which provide incredibly secure tension locking abilities, plus a Warp Helper Loop which maintains stability between the dowel rod and the heddle while warping the loom – making the process much easier!
This neat little loom can be easily transported or stored with your weaving still in place. Simply remove the top and bottom metal crossbars and rotate the heddle blocks.

Each loom purchase includes an 8 dent Rigid Heddle Reed, 2 Stick Shuttles, 1 Pick-up Stick, 2 Warping Clamps, 1 Warping Peg, a Reed Hook, and Warping Helper Cord. The Presto loom also comes with instructions for weaving a scarf plus a skein of hand-dyed superwash Merino wool yarn to complete the project!

You can leave the smooth Alder wood in its natural state or treat it with oil, varnish or wax. Alternatively, you can stain the wood to enhance the colour.
