This “Very Berry” coloured bag has been handwoven by weavers in Guatemala through the Mayan Hands program. Mayan Hands is a nonprofit fair trade organization with a mission to empower Mayan women in Guatemala and provide them with the opportunity to earn a fair return for their work. It supports women artisans in their quest to bring their families out of extreme poverty while they continue to live within the Mayan culture they cherish.
