The Louet Erica Table Loom in 30cm weaving width (11 3/4″) with 4 shafts.
The Erica table loom is easier to operate than a rigid heddle loom because the warp tension is more even. It has a large shed of 4.5 cm (1 ¾”), and there is flexibility in the number of threads per cm.
The warped loom can fold flat making it compact and easy to transport to courses, weaving groups or on holiday. The swinging beater is attached by a U-shaped steel bracket to the frame, and ensures a parallel motion.
Erica comes with a built-in raddle, a stainless steel reed (40/10), 200 Texsolv heddles (150 mm), stainless steel lease- and tie-up bars and warp strips. (Please note that you will need to order a shuttle, and/or the Erica Accessory Kit for Beginners which includes 1 x 30cm stick shuttle, 1 x 50cm stick shuttle, a reed/heddle hook, warping posts, and instructions for beginning weaving.)
The loom is made from unlacquered beech and laminated birch. Additional 15cm Texsolv heddles are available from this website.
