The NEW 50cm Louet Jane table loom has 16 shafts. The loom is available from Louet at the end of December 2023. Please allow 3-4 weeks for delivery from that date.
The Jane has been designed after consultation with weavers, while using successful techniques from its predecessor, the Kombo. There is no cord wear, since cords run over rollers and the overhead beater stays out of the way when throwing the shuttle. The loom can be folded down flat to just 14cm – making it portable and easy to store. This model includes a shuttle race to provide support for the shuttle while weaving.
The loom is made of lacquered beech and has a built-in raddle and is delivered part assembled. The kit includes a stainless steel 10 dpi reed, 800 (8 bundles) Texsolv heddles 205mm, tie-up and lease sticks and sixteen warp sticks. This new loom can be used with the existing 50cm wide floor stand and the existing 2nd warp beam available separately (see “You may also like…” below).
Weaving width 50cm (20″). Dimensions (width x depth x height): 67cm x 75cm x 65cm (26 3/8″ x 29 1/2″ x 25 5/8″), folded 14 cm (5 1/2″) high.
