The autodenter was developed by the weaving industry for sleying the reed. This ingenious tool is simple and effective, and takes just a few minutes to learn how to use (see our blog post Sleying the Reed with the Autodenter for further information).
Save yourself from the tedious chore of threading warp ends through your reed, this automatic reed hook, the autodenter, makes light work of the process. It simply jumps from dent to dent without leaving the reed, and hooks through a warp thread as it goes! Choose from:
- Size 5 for 15-20 dpi / 60-80 per 10cm reeds
- Size 6 for 10-12 dpi / 40-50 per 10cm reeds
