An Aran yarn, spun from the fleece of British wool breed Jacob. This natural undyed yarn has a soft to medium handle and its weight makes it ideal for jackets, thick cardigans, and blankets.
100% British Wool, 100g hank, 166m (182 yards). Equivalent to Nm 1.5 for weaving. Needle size 4mm (UK 8 / US 6) with a row tension (per 10cm sq) of 24 rows and a stitch tension (per 10cm sq) of 18 stitches. Take care when cleaning British Wool products. Hand wash at 30°C to prevent felting and shrinkage and do not spin, reshape while damp.
