Ashford’s very own 100% pure New Zealand wool – grown, prepared and spun in a small boutique mill in Hawkes Bay in New Zealand.
This beautiful yarn is made from a blend of Corriedale and Perendale wool, grown on sheep farms around New Zealand and spun with a three-fold twist (three strands plied together).
The semi worsted Ashford DK pure wool yarn is perfect for knitting, weaving and knit/felt garments, accessories and projects. Each 100g ball contains 202 metres. Recommended needle size: 4-4.5mm (tension 10 x 10cm = 20-22 stitches, 28 rows). Weaving sett: 7.5-10dpi.
Take care with 100% pure wool yarns. To prevent felting and shrinkage hand wash, dry flat, and use a warm iron only. Dry cleanable.
