Take the effort out of winding balls of wool up to as much as 500g in weight! The Ashford e-Ball Winder arrives ready assembled and is made from beautiful New Zealand Silver Beech hardwood with a lacquered finish.
This electric ball winder has a powerful 12v 2.0-amp DC motor which drives the balanced cone assembly. The soft start allows you to control the yarn as it starts to wind onto the cone and the variable speed control allows you to feed the yarn at your preferred pace.
Yarn can be wound clockwise or anti-clockwise and the instant stop helps with precise measurements. The 8mm yarn guide allows for fine to chunky yarns and the rubber feet and clamp ensure the ball winder remains in place.
Ashford e-Ball Winder comes with one clamp, a foot switch for better control of your yarn, and a 12v mains power cord. There is an optional 12 volt car cord (available separately) which enables winding balls away from mains power, please enquire.
