Kromski Harp Forte rigid heddle looms are instantly recognisable by the four beautiful scrolls carved from European Alder wood, standing proud at each corner of the loom. This solid wood loom is made by the skilled woodworkers at Kromski, who also make the stunning spinning wheels offered on this website.
This highly functional loom features innovative metal ratchet and pawl tension mechanisms, which include rare earth magnets that act as a locking system. The convenient built-in warping board on the back of the loom, together with the Warping Helper and direct warping peg and clamp, make light work of warping up, while the double heddle block allows you to use a second heddle reed in your weaving. The latches on either side of the loom can be lifted to allow the loom to be folded with the weaving in place, thereby turning the scrolls into sturdy feet on which the loom can safely stand.
The Kromski Harp Forte looms come with all the tools you need to start your first weaving project. The two clamps help to secure the loom while weaving on a tabletop, or the loom can be mounted on the stand, which is sold separately.
Choose your loom from the following widths: 20cm (8″), 40cm (16″), 60cm (24″) or 80cm (32″).
Please note that the images of the folded loom, warping board and contents are of the 16-inch Harp Forte Loom.
