Wooden rigid heddle reed frames for 30cm and 50cm Lojan Flex looms and the 70cm Lojan Rigid Heddle Loom. The frame is empty and can be filled with any combination of reed segments (i.e. reed segments are 2cm wide and 15 segments are required to fill the 30cm frame, while 25 segments are required to fill the 50cm frame). Reed segments are sold in sets of 5.
The weaver can create a variable dent reed for different thicknesses of warp yarn by mixing the dents of the reed segments (available in 2.5, 5, 7.5, 10, 12.5 and 15dpi).
When building your reed, please note the following key tips:
- Always gently slide the green holders on or off the wooden rails.
- Do not click or bend them into position – this can cause damage.
- Slide the included O-rings snugly against the holders to prevent shifting during weaving.
