A bleach free printing paste for removing areas of colour from dyed natural fabrics such as denim jeans and cotton shirts. Unlike bleach, the formula has been designed to remove colour from linen, silk, wool, and cotton without damaging the integrity of the fibres. Apply the discharge paste to fabric using a brush, stamp or silkscreen. When dry, iron with steam (on setting appropriate for fabric type) to activate the deColourant. Wash with Synthrapol or mild detergent to return fabric to its natural softness.
Notes:
– When discharging dyes, the colour removed does not always turn the fabric to white. A completely different colour may result.
– There are some fibre reactive dye colours which are not susceptible to colour removal. Test samples should be prepared prior to production runs.
CAUTION! May cause eye, skin and throat irritation. Avoid contact with eyes. Avoid prolonged contact with skin. Do not apply by spraying. In case of eye contact flush immediately with water for at least 15 minutes. For skin, wash thoroughly with soap and water. If affected by inhalation of vapor, seek fresh air. Use in well-ventilated area. 944ml pot.
