Recycled newspaper hand spun on drop spindles into a variable width yarn between 2 and 4 mm. The Indian newspapers are rescued from landfill, torn into strips and spun by countryside co-operatives to supplement low incomes. Each length of yarn (approximately 40 metres / 100g) is completely unique and can be knitted or woven into a paper fabric. Use to wrap around glass jars and glue with PVA or roll into a coil and set in resin!
Due to the nature of the material it is not possible to wash Recycled Newspaper Yarn
